Information We Collect

When you register or apply for a role, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any CV or cover note you provide. This information is used solely for recruitment purposes.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to match you with suitable hospitality roles, conduct AI-assisted phone screening, and communicate with you about your application. We do not sell or share your data with third parties outside of our recruitment process.

🤖 AI in our hiring process

We use AI assistants at three points in our recruitment process. We want to be transparent about how this works and what your rights are.

1. CV pre-assessment

When you submit an application, an AI assistant (Anthropic Claude) reads your CV and application form and produces a structured summary including a fit-for-role score, your relevant strengths, any concerns, and suggested alternative positions if the original role isn't a strong match. This summary is reviewed by our recruiter (Jess Bramwell) before any decision is made — the AI does not autonomously progress, reject, or shortlist any candidate.

2. AI-powered phone screening

If your application looks like a good match, you may receive a short (8-12 minute) phone call from an AI screening agent (powered by ElevenLabs). The agent asks a small set of general questions about your experience, availability, and work rights. Calls are recorded, transcribed, and reviewed by our recruiter. You'll receive an SMS heads-up before the call.

3. AI-powered role-specific interview

Candidates who pass the first screening may be invited to a longer (15-20 minute) AI-powered interview that asks questions specific to the role you applied for. Again — recorded, transcribed, reviewed by a human.

Your rights regarding AI decisions

  • Right to a human review. Every decision (advance, hold, decline) is made by our recruiter — never autonomously by AI. You can request that a different human reviewer look at your application by emailing [email protected].
  • Right to explanation. If you'd like to understand why your application was scored a particular way, or why a decision was made, email [email protected] and we'll share the reasoning behind the decision.
  • Right to opt out of AI screening. If you'd prefer to skip the AI phone screen and speak with a human directly, let us know in your application's cover note or by email. This will not disadvantage your application.
  • Data retention. Call recordings, transcripts, and AI assessments are retained for 12 months after your last interaction with us, then deleted (unless we hire you — in which case they become part of your employment record).
  • No protected-attribute inference. Our AI is instructed not to infer or use age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or family status in any scoring or recommendation.

We use these specific AI providers: Anthropic (Claude) for CV scoring + transcript analysis; ElevenLabs for the voice agent; Twilio for SMS and call routing. Some calls may be served by alternative LLM providers (OpenAI, Google, on-premise Qwen) for cost or availability reasons — all subject to the same human-review requirement.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected].
